Sustainable Northwest Wood is moving

Our subsidiary business is growing into a larger space, opening February 1, 2015.

Some of the specialty wood products have already been moved over to Sustainable Northwest Wood's new larger warehouse.

Sustainable Northwest Wood will be open for business on February 1 at its new location just down the road at 2701 SE 14th Avenue, on the corner of SE Clinton.

In the meantime at the current warehouse, the team is busy selling the specialty wood products that are increasingly in demand. Markets for Western Juniper are taking off, along with Oregon Myrtle, Madrone, and “Campground” Blue Pine, among others.

The new space offers better climate control for the specialty products, and more room for the commodity structural lumber and plywood. Tamra Rooney, Director of Operations shared an update on the move. “We are receiving a truck load of plywood next week. It will fill up fast once we actually get moved in.”

We are looking forward to a grand re-opening in March and will share the date when it’s announced. Stay tuned!
