HFHC Marketing
HFHC provides a vast array of marketing services, including:
- Product Differentiation: The HFHC trademarked label represents a quality product that carries a story of local community and forest sustainability.
- Market Awareness: HFHC showcases its members to select audiences that include architects, designers, builders, developers, retailers and public officials.
- Market Research: Members have access to market research findings and databases, including lists of vendors, distributors, product information, and market data.
- Inquiries and referrals: HFHC often interfaces with potential customers, such as retailers, contractors, architects, and homeowners. We field many inquiries and redirect them to the appropriate member businesses.
- Media Exposure: HFHC assists in gaining exposure through earned and paid media, press releases, and other public relations activities.
- Tradeshow Attendance: HFHC facilitates assistance at trade events, through a regional ‘tradeshow guide’, tradeshow trainings, and cost-shares to support tradeshow attendance. HFHC staff also attend tradeshows to promote the Partnership as a whole and serve as proxy for individual members.
- Marketing Materials: We offer a variety of marketing materials to help members promote themselves while showing that they belong to this larger Partnership. Materials include hang tags, brochures, product samples, and professional photos. We are also available to help members design their own marketing materials, and can cost-share on production. Members can also use the HFHC tradeshow booth, which has interchangeable panels that allow for customization.
- Market Feedback: HFHC provides members with information about the expectations and needs of the urban marketplace.
- Business-to-Business: HFHC facilitates connections between businesses and among businesses and existing sales infrastructure, including wholesalers, sales reps, brokers and retailers.
- FSC Group Chain-of-Custody: HFHC holds a group certification for chain-of-custody certification under the standards of the Forest Stewardship Council. HFHC members who meet the FSC-US requirements are able to join this umbrella certificate, thus reducing costs and reporting commitments to the individual businesses.
