Sign-on to our climate change legislation recommendations

Opportunity to sign-on to our climate change legislation recommendations

The RVCC Climate Change working group and the RVCC Core Group have prepared recommendations for The Clean Energy Jobs and American Power Act (S. 1733) (the Boxer/Kerry climate legislation), as passed out of the Environment and Public Works Committee.

Our recommendations concern: renewable biomass, natural resource adaptation and mitigation funding and planning, supplemental agricultural and forestry GHG reduction and renewable energy programs, qualified forest offsets and the role of the USDA Forest Service.  

Please sign on by this Tuesday, November 23rd by close of business.
