I want to thank all of our donors for your truly wonderful support. We couldn’t do it without you! In particular I’d like to welcome and thank our many new donors who helped us win matched funding from the Collins Foundation. Thank you!

2011 was a great year. We just wrapped up our most successful end of year fundraising effort to date!

Looking forward, I am very excited about what 2012 has in store.

Only two weeks from now we will be co-hosting a Community Energy Tour to showcase innovative efforts that are lowering heating costs, connecting communities to their local forests, and fostering jobs for Oregonians. Space is still available so be sure to register today!

Alongside our partners, we are taking this fresh thinking about heating energy to Washington, D.C. where our biomass experts will educate our Representatives and Senators about the benefits of locally produced energy. Look for updates here.

Plans are already underway for our 11th Annual Policy Meeting, happening March 6-8 in Vancouver, WA, where so many inspired conversations about rural issues will form the 2012 platform for our Rural Voices for Conservation Coalition.

Look for our Catalyst e-newsletter in your inbox each month where we go in-depth about the innovations happening in the world of sustainable communities and natural resource management. For the latest updates be sure to follow us on Facebook and Twitter.

With you in sustainability,
Martin

Overheard...

“As an HFHC partner we have experienced opportunities to interact with other small businesses in related fields to exchange ideas. HFHC has been beneficial in helping develop marketing strategies and has co-sponsored display booths at home shows we couldn't otherwise afford. They have had a positive influence on our business and community and their efforts are greatly appreciated.”
