We envision thriving dry forest communities in eastern Oregon and northern California.

Abrams Wallowa

Sustainable Northwest is working with regional partners to address landscape scale restoration in rural communities across eastern Oregon and northern California.

This five-year initiative aims to increase the health of forested landscapes and the vitality of the communities, businesses, and wood product entrepreneurs within the Dry Forest Investment Zone.

We are working in partnership with Wallowa Resources in Enterprise, OR The Watershed Research and Training Center in Hayfork, CA, and the Ecosystem Workforce Program at the University of Oregon in Eugene, OR.

Whether you are focused on building strong communities that harness local energy or working to ensure that Pacific Northwest forests are healthy for the next generation we encourage you to explore the site to learn about the program and the opportunities it may provide, including the recently launched Capacity Building Program.

For even further information on this program please, contact us.

We would love to hear from you!
