Alex works to expand access to reliable, clean energy across the Pacific Northwest. He leads SNW's community energy development initiatives and collaborates with partners to advocate for inclusive, forward-thinking policy. He earned undergraduate degrees from Appalachian State University, as well as an MBA in Corporate Sustainability with focuses on ecosystem science and carbon accounting from Colorado State University.

Outside of work, Alex can be found planning his next trip to the mountains for a climbing, skiing, or lake-lounging adventure. He lives in Hood River with his wife, Audrey, their dog, Banjo, and a three-legged cat named Oliver.
