Plan. Strengthen. Sustain Your Giving.
Join The Tree Rings by making a recurring donation to SNW!
Every tree tells its story through the rings it leaves behind—a quiet testament to seasons passed, roots strengthened, and growth endured. When you join The Tree Rings as a recurring annual or monthly donor, you become a part of our story by providing Sustainable Northwest with the strength and stability we need to continue supporting our region’s rural communities and productive landscapes.
Making a regular, scheduled gift to SNW will maximize your impact by reducing administrative costs and helping us map implement your gift in the most strategic way. It is a smart and sustaining way to give, and a meaningful way to support our mission.
“Deep down, at the molecular heart of life, the trees and we are essentially identical.”
— Carl Sagan
What are The Tree Rings?
As a tree grows, it adds a new layer of wood, thickening the trunk and strengthening the tree. Tree rings can tell us a lot about whether a tree was thriving, struggling, or lacking resources in a given year.
When you opt for a recurring gift, either monthly or annually, you’ll join a circle of donors we call The Tree Rings, whose contributions provide a steady stream of support for Sustainable Northwest:
-
SNW will save on mailings and administrative fees associated with your donation.
-
No more checks to mail or end of year gifts that may be forgotten. Set up your recurring gift through your bank’s online payment portal, or use our online donation portal to make a recurring gift with your credit card.
-
You’ll receive one annual receipt detailing the full previous year’s giving that can be mailed or emailed directly to you every January.
Two ways to make a recurring donation.
If you prefer to donate with a credit or debit card, simply choose to make your gift recurring when using our online donation portal. You’ll be prompted to make your gift monthly or annually and in just minutes, you will be providing steady support for Sustainable Northwest.
If you prefer to use your own bank, set up an automatic withdrawal from the online payment system. Choose to make your gift annually, monthly, or quarterly in an amount that works with your budget. We will send you an annual tax receipt every January detailing the previous year’s gifts. Questions? Contact us.
