Rachel Hartley brings a background in nonprofit communications, storytelling, and community engagement to her role as Communications Associate at Sustainable Northwest. She is passionate about uplifting mission-driven work and helping share stories that connect people, land, and community across the region.

Rachel is excited to support collaborative solutions that strengthen rural economies, working lands, and natural resources throughout the Northwest.

Outside of work, Rachel enjoys singing, acting, creative projects, and candle making; values spending time with loved ones and community; and appreciates the creativity and natural beauty that make Portland home. She brings a warm, people-centered approach to everything she does.
